I am writing concerning Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request of 19 November 2025 date which asks for:

Please provide a list of all trips taken to the Middle East since 2023, including dates.

Please provide a list of all meetings taken during these trips, including dates and approximate length of the meeting.

Please also include a list of events attended, including dates.

This letter is to advise that we will need to extend the time limit for responding to you by 15 working days, to 27 January 2025. This is because responding to your request necessitates review of a large quantity of information, and meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with operations (section 15A(1)(a) of the Act refers)

However, if this process is completed before 27 January 2025, the response will be sent to you as soon as possible.

Please note that the days between 25 December 2025 and 15 January 2026 are not considered to be working days under the Official Information Act 1982.
