I’m requesting information on the former Ministerial residences owned by
the New Zealand government.

Specifically:

A) How many former Ministerial Residences have been sold? Please list
addresses and approximate date of sale/disposal.

B) In respect to 30 Forres Street in Seatoun, please list Ministerial
occupants if such records exist.

C) Does DPMC or any other government department retain records of
allocations of Ministerial residences?

 

The Department will provide its response to your request as soon as
practicable and within twenty working days. The due date for your request
is 11 December 2025.

I am writing to acknowledge receipt of the below part of your OIA request
which was transferred to Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service
Commission from the Department of The Prime Minister and Cabinet 14 April
2026.

[7] What mechanism exists for ensuring that the stewardship obligations
under sections 12 and 52 of the Public Service Act 2020 — specifically the
requirement to provide advice on the "long-term implications of policies"
and to "proactively promote stewardship" — are met in

relation to cross-portfolio mortality impacts.

We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible and in
any event no later than 20 working days after the day your request was
received. If we are unable to respond to your request by then, we will
notify you of an extension of that timeframe.

If any additional factors come to light which are relevant to your
