Consistency with the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990: Covid-19 (Vaccinations) Legislation Bill
Nadine Connock made this Official Information request to Ministry of Justice
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Nadine Connock to read a recent response and update the status.
From: Nadine Connock
Dear Ministry of Justice,
On a document addressed to the Hon David Parker, Attorney-General titled Legal Advice LPA 01 01 24 on the 23rd of November 2021,
your ministry stated the following:
2. We have not yet received a final version of the Bill. This advice has been prepared in relation to the latest version of the Bill (PCO 24238/9.5). This advice has been prepared in an extremely short timeframe due to the late receipt of the Bill that was not in compliance with Cabinet Office Guidance. We will provide you with further advice if the final version includes amendments that affect the conclusions in this advice.
Please provide an explanation as to why or what was not in compliance with the Cabinet Office Guidance.
Yours faithfully,
Nadine Connock
