This request is about Erica Stanford's MoE portfolio.
I'd like to make an OIA request for copies of all emails, instant messages, texts, and transcripts of phone calls/video calls received the Minister of Education, and her office on the use of "Artificial Intelligence" for the assessment/marking of Year 9, 10, and 11 secondary school students' work (excluding NCEA), between 01/12/2023 and 01/12/2024.
To clarify, this request includes incoming communications on the above from:
- Senior officials in the Ministry of Education
- The Minister's office
- Any parties being consulted or asked to advise.
But excludes submissions or communications made by members of the public.
For your reference, key search terms may include, but are not limited to:
Generative AI, GenAI, AI model, discriminative AI model, generative AI
model, Large Language Model, LLM, Machine learning model, GPT, AI-marking,
AI-assessment, Automated marking, Automated assessment, AI-assisted, and
