Authority (REA).

 

We understand you have requested the following information:

 

I am writing to seek clarification regarding a claim made publicly by an
individual, Fale Andrew Lesā, which I came across online and which was
reportedly part of his previous election profile. The statement reads:

"Fale Andrew Lesā is currently a director for the Real Estate Authority,
the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Health."

Could you please confirm whether he has ever held a director position with
the Real Estate Authority?

Additionally, I would like to understand your internal policies and
procedures for handling situations where individuals may falsely claim to
be a director or employee of your organization. Specifically:

Does the REA investigate cases where someone is alleged to have
misrepresented themselves as affiliated with your organization?

Do you accept public complaints regarding impersonation or
misrepresentation of your directors or staff?

If so, may I formally suggest that this matter be looked into, given the
seriousness of the claim?

 

We will respond to your request as soon as we can and by no later than 05
September 2025, being 20 working days from the date we received your
request, in accordance with the Official Information Act 1982.

 

We will provide the response by email to this address.  If you would
prefer another method, please let us know.
