Dear Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade,
Under the OIA, I am requesting the following information:

1. Any communications received by MFAT from the United States Government (including cables, demarches, or other diplomatic correspondence) related to the upcoming United Nations conference in New York concerning a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict.

2. Any internal MFAT briefings, memos, or reports that reference or respond to such U.S. communications, or discuss New Zealand’s potential attendance or position regarding this conference.

It is reported that the U.S. has issued a diplomatic demarche discouraging participation in the conference:
