Administrative matters:
If any part of the requested information is withheld, please specify the applicable section(s) of the Act and the reason(s).
If the request is likely to be refused under s 18(f) on grounds of substantial collation or research, I would welcome the opportunity to refine the request or accept the information in a form readily extractable from your systems.
I am a New Zealand citizen and currently residing in New Zealand.
I appreciate your assistance and look forward to your response.

Time period:
From the earliest month-end for which the Bank holds these series through
to the most recent month-end available at the time this request is
 processed.
Format:
A single comma-separated values (CSV) file, or a set of CSVs, with each
 record containing at least:
- Date (ISO 8601 format)
 - Bank identifier (short name or registration ID)
 - Product tenor (e.g., “1 yr fixed”)
 - Advertised carded interest rate (% p.a., as originally supplied)

What happens next?
We expect to have a response to you within 20 working days of your
original request. Some responses require more time, and we’ll be in touch
with you if we need to extend the timeframe.

Is there a cost?
We usually provide official information to requestors for free. However,
when a request is particularly complex or requires our staff to spend a
lot of time collating information, we may need to pass on some of that
cost. This is provided for under the Official Information Act (see the
 Ombudsman’s [1]Guide to Charging).
If your request falls into this category, we’ll be in touch with you to
discuss how you might be able to refine your request to avoid, or
 minimise, any costs to you.

What happens to the information you ask for?
Responses to official information requests are published on the Reserve
Bank’s website after they have been sent to the requestor. We do this as
part of Open Government – because all public sector agencies have a
responsibility to be open and transparent about what they’re doing and the
 decisions they’re making.
