Dear Edwin Hollier,

 

We have received your emailed request, made under the provisions of the
Official Information Act (the OIA), seeking:

 

the date at which your executive team or chief executive were notified of
the investigation into the ANZ CE's expenses. Please provide the content
of any correspondence received from ANZ relating to this topic.

 

Subject to the provisions of the Act, you will be notified of the outcome
of your request as soon as practicable, but not later than 2 August 2019.

 

The Reserve Bank is resourced to meet disclosure obligations for a
reasonable level of requests. The OIA allows us to charge and the Reserve
Bank believes that requesters should bear costs when requests are made for
very large amounts of information, where a response to a request is
particularly complex, or where requesters make very frequent requests. If
our initial assessment of your request finds that substantial charges are
likely, then the Reserve Bank will contact you to discuss refining the
request to a smaller scope that is less likely to involve substantial
charges. The Reserve Bank publishes responses to requests soon after
release to the requester.  Further information about charges and
