I refer to your recent comments on 16 May 2025 where you called Leader of the Opposition Chris Hipkins a “sausage eater” during a in interview with media in your capacity as Deputy Prime Minister.

- What source of information was the Deputy Prime Minister relying on when he referred to the leader of the opposition as a “sausage eater”? Please provide any relevant emails, correspondence, notes, briefings, or documents regarding this.
- What advice has the Deputy Prime Minister received on "sausage eaters", and is the Minister saying that sausage eaters cannot be trusted? Please provide any relevant emails, correspondence, notes, briefings, or documents regarding this.
- Is the Deputy Prime Minister referring to all types of sausage, or only a subset of sausages; if so, please clarify which types of sausage make a person untrustworthy. Please provide any relevant emails, correspondence, notes, briefings, or documents regarding this.
- Has the Deputy Prime Minister consulted with the sausage industry, and what if any meetings has he had with the sausage industry, whether on the topic of sausage eaters or otherwise? Please provide any relevant emails, correspondence, notes, briefings, or documents regarding this.
