Subject: Official Information request - New Zealand citizens with dual
nationality

 

Dear New Zealand Customs Service,

 

How the egate and Customs record the movement of New Zealand citizens with
nationality if they use the foregin passports to entry without citizenship
endorsement.

 

For example, a New Zealand citizen also has Australia citizenship. They
use their Asutralia passport to entry New Zealand. Will the system record
this person as a New Zealand citizen or Australian citizen?
