Dear Ministerial Services,
I am reliably informed that some current employees are subject to Restraint of Trade clauses in their employment agreement. My phrasing of the first question may have allowed you to avoid the following questions.
I therefore ask again:
1. How many current employees are bound by Restraint of Trade clauses?
2. What is the nature of these restraints, specifically:
a) The duration of the restraints
b) The geographic scope of the restraints
c) The specific activities or sectors that employees are restricted from engaging in
d) Any variation in restraint conditions based on employee roles or departments
4. Since January 2020, how many times has the organisation sought to enforce these restraint clauses against former employees?
5. What costs has the organisation incurred in relation to the enforcement of these clauses since January 2020?
Yours sincerely,
A Barker
