Request for information on why my 105 report was shelved by taihape police

From: Patrick Thomas
Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the failure to investigate my theft claim filed against my ex-landlord, DarrenPlayford, under the 105 report system.
On 06/03/2023, I reported a theft that occurred while I was residing at 7 wren street taihape, and I filed a 105 report detailing the incident. The case was subsequently assigned to your department for investigation. However, to my dismay, I have recently learned that no further investigation has taken place, and my claim was essentially shelved.
I have made several attempts to inquire about the progress of the investigation but have received no meaningful updates. Given the nature of the crime and the significant loss I incurred as a result, I am deeply concerned by the lack of action on this matter.
I respectfully request that you review my case and provide a clear explanation for the failure to pursue this matter further. I believe that the theft I reported warrants proper investigation, and I am entitled to know the status of the report I filed. Additionally, I request that this complaint be thoroughly investigated to ensure that due process is followed and that my concerns are addressed.
Please provide a prompt response to this complaint and an update on the status of my case. Should you require any further information or documentation from my side, I am more than willing to provide it.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.
Yours faithfully,
Patrick Allan thomas
