-The number of children adopted in New Zealand between 2005 and
2015, broken down by year
-The number of children adopted in New Zealand between 2005 and
2015 by gay or lesbian couples, broken down by year
-The number of gay and lesbian couples who applied to adopt a child
in New Zealand between 2005 and 2015, broken down by year
-The number of gay and lesbian couple's adoption applications for a
child in New Zealand that were denied between 2005 and 2015, broken
down by year, and the reasons for those denied applications

I refer to your request for information of 17 August 2015 (below). Under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) you request the following:

Under section 14 of the Act, I have transferred this request to Andrew Bridgman Secretary for Justice, as the information you request is more closely related to the functions of the Ministry of Justice.

The Ministry of Justice will consider and respond to your request in accordance with the Act.
