Dear Max,

Further to your information request of 17 August 2015 in respect of cycle
count numbers, I am now able to provide Hamilton City Council’s response.

You requested:

“For a number of years, HCC has been conducting an annual count of people
riding bicycles at various locations around the city. I would like to
request copies of all of the reports prepared for HCC based on these cycle
counts going back to the inception of the cycle counting initiative,
including the full counts for each location.”

Please find attached the following two documents:

Cycle Counts

This spread sheet includes full count data for each site location between
2009 and 2015.  Please note that there is also an overview tab which
includes the ‘total counts’ for the city cordon and suburban sites.  The
city counts date back to 1980 and the suburban counts to 1996 when these
were introduced.  We do not have available the full site location counts.

Reports

The second document is a PDF which includes copies of all reports for the
years 2002-2010 and a document that was produced based on the 2014 data.
These are the only documents that are available in a report format.

If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,

On Behalf of the Privacy Officer
