Dear University of Otago,
I am requesting information regarding entry into the BDS programme through the “graduate” category for 2025 (i.e "2025" refers to the applicants submitting their application in 2024 and starting their degree in 2025)
Please provide statistics on the following:
1) How many people applied through the “graduate” category (with a breakdown of those in general and sub-categories) for Dentistry?
2) Lowest GPA for successful graduate applicants (excluding sub-categories) for Dentistry.
3) Highest GPA for unsuccessful graduate applicants (excluding sub-categories) for Dentistry.
4) Of those individuals who applied, how many received an interview invite (with a breakdown of those in general and sub-categories)?
5) Of those individuals who received an interview invite, how many received an offer (with a breakdown of those in general and sub-categories)?
And please provide statistics for “alternative” category entry to BDS for 2025 cohort. (i.e "2025" refers to the applicants submitting their application in 2024 and starting their degree in 2025)
1) How many people applied through the “alternative” category (excluding sub-categories)?
2) Of those individuals who applied, how many received an interview invite?
3) Of those individuals who received an interview invite, how many received an offer?
