Dear Chief Executive,

I am making this request under the Official Information Act 1982. I would like to request the following information regarding the operation of Swim Zone facilities in the Matamata-Piako District:
1. Annual Operational Costs – A breakdown of the total annual operating costs for Swim Zone facilities (Matamata, Te Aroha, and Morrinsville) for the last three financial years.
2. Funding Sources – A breakdown of how these costs are funded, including:
• Revenue from user fees and charges
• Contributions from general rates
• Any other funding sources (grants, sponsorships, etc.)
3. Cost Per Ratepayer – The estimated annual cost of Swim Zone operations per ratepayer.
4. Capital Expenditure – Details of any capital expenditure on Swim Zone facilities over the last three years, including major upgrades, maintenance projects, or infrastructure investments.
5. Projected Costs – Any forecasted operational costs or budget allocations for Swim Zone facilities in the next three years.

If any part of this request is likely to be refused under the Act, please provide the reasons and consider releasing any relevant portions of the information. If possible, I would appreciate receiving this information in an electronic format (PDF or spreadsheet).
