Thank you for your email dated ​11 February 2025 to Te Kaunihera o Pōneke
| Wellington City Council (the Council) for the following information: 

 

o Please provide copies of any correspondence between the Mayor and
Wellington Airport since 1 July 2024.   

 

Your request is being considered under the Local Government Official
Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA).

 

This email is to seek clarification on your request. As currently worded,
your request would require the collation and assessment of a considerable
number of documents from the Council’s systems. To enable us to provide
you with a timely response, and in accordance with our obligations under
section 17B of the LGOIMA, we wish to clarify if there is anything
particular you require. If so, the Council recommends refining your
request to be for a narrower scope of information if possible. Should the
request not be refined, it is likely that the request will be refused
pursuant to section 17(f) of the LGOIMA, as the information requested
cannot be made available without substantial collection or research.

 

Can you please specify whether you would like correspondence between the
Mayor and Wellington Airport with Tory Whanau acting in her capacity as a
Board member or in her capacity as Mayor?

 

Additionally, can you please specify if you want correspondence sent only
from Mayor Whanau’s email or do you want all correspondence from the
Mayor’s Office?

 

To enable us to meet our obligations under the LGOIMA, we would be
grateful for your response as soon as possible, but by no later than 18
February 2025.
