Thank you for your email.
Yes, the Land Transport Act 1998 has received royal assent. It received
royal assent on 8 December 1998. You can see the date on the front of the
Land Transport Act 1998 which is available at [1]www.legislation.govt.nz.
This is also evidence of the fact. We have attached a picture of the
relevant information for your ease of reference.
The Transport Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing Act 1986 also
has received royal assent. It received royal assent on 30 April 1986. You
can see the date on the front of the Transport Vehicle and Driver
Registration and Licensing Act 1986 which is available at
[2]www.legislation.govt.nz. This is also evidence of the fact. We have
attached a picture of the relevant information for your ease of reference.
Please note that the Transport Vehicle and Driver Registration and
Licensing Act 1986 was repealed on 1 May 2011, by section 33 of the Land
Transport Amendment Act 2009.
