Agencies contacted to help homeless related to Operation Trolley
David Adamson made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for David Adamson to read a recent response and update the status.
From: David Adamson
Dear New Zealand Police,
The following statement was given in relation to Operation Trolley:
“Police works with a number of agencies to understand these issues, support the homeless, and collectively find homeless people long-term solutions,” said a police spokesperson.
Can you please confirm any agencies contacted with respect to the homeless people involved in Operation Trolley (people with trolleys confiscated or who were arrested or trespassed). Just a basic list of agencies is fine - nothing specific. I am just seeking to understand if any help was sought or referral made for these people.
I reside in New Zealand and I am eligible to make requests under section 12(1) of the Official Information Act.
Yours faithfully,
David
