On behalf of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment I
acknowledge your email of 20/01/2025 requesting, under the Official
Information Act 1982, the following:
I would like a request of the number of home visits for “Visa status”
checks, interview or suspected “overstayers” from the last 12months (1st
Jan 2024 to 1st Jan 2025) by Immigration New Zealand.
Also please include if Police were present in the visits or not.

Also, could you also provide a breakdown of all of the home visit you have
between  1st Jan 2024 to 1st Jan 2025 by grouping them up by location,
purpose of the visit (visa check, suspected overstays etc)
 
We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible, and no
later than 18/02/2025, being 20 working days after the day your request
was received. If we are unable to respond to your request by then, we will
notify you of an extension of that timeframe. If you have any enquiries
