I refer to your request of 12 December 2024 for information related to
admissions for the University of Auckland’s Masters of Health Psychology
programme from 2021- 2025. I apologise for the delay in the University’s
response. The information requested is attached.

 

The Faculty has further provided the following information about
admissions to the Masters of Health Psychology programme:

 

“Applicants will be considered for an interview based on their GPA/GPE (a
GPA of 6.0 is typically required) and a qualitative evaluation of their
suitability for the programme. This evaluation will be informed by two
letters of recommendation (at least one from an academic staff member), a
personal statement, and a current CV.

 

After interviews, applicants will be ranked according to their GPA/GPE and
a qualitative assessment of their prior experience, commitment to the
field, and aptitude. This assessment will be based on both the submitted
materials and interview performance. Offers will be made to the
highest-ranking applicants.”
