From: John Walker
Dear Waitaki District Council,
On Thursday 31 October, I wrote to Waitaki District Council Regulatory Group Manager Mr Roger Cook informing him of the fact that his Regulatory Manager and Regulatory Services Officer were actively and knowingly aiding my neighbour in breaching Waitaki General Bylaw 56. Included in my letter was evidence in support of this claim which has been uncontested to date.
Due to the above, I would like to request all information held by Waitaki Council in regards to the complaint I lodged with Council on Wednesday 24 July 2024. This complaint was in regards to our neighbour breaching General Bylaw 56, by keeping a rooster on her urban property at 1180 Goodwood Rd, Palmerston.
I would like to request copies of all correspondence held by council pertaining to this matter including the following:
Written documents, reports, memoranda, letters, notes, emails and draft documents.
Non-written documentary information, such as material stored on or generated by computers, including databases, video or tape recordings.
Information which is known by Waitaki District Council, but which has not yet been recorded in writing or otherwise (including knowledge of a particular matter held by an officer, employee or member of the Council in their official capacity).
The reasons for any decisions that have been made about our neighbour and her rooster including any undertakings or infringements received.
Yours faithfully,
Peter Walker
