I am writing concerning your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request (reference 29812) of 9 November 2024 which asks for:

All documentation (briefing, emails etc including any invitation) associated with New Zealand embassy/ambassadorial attendance and representation at a King's Cup rowing ceremony held in Berlin on 17 October 2024.

This email is to advise that we will need to extend the time limit for responding to you by 20 working days, to 27 January 2025. This is due to the consultations necessary to make a decision on your and (section 15A(1)(b) of the OIA refers).

However, if this process is completed before 27 January 2025, the response will be sent to you as soon as possible.

Please note, this extension takes into account the upcoming statutory holidays and the summer period between 25 December 2023 to 15 January 2024, which are not considered working days, as set out in section 2(1) of the OIA.
