I request copies of the emails received by your office saying that the Government was not going far enough on the Sentencing (Reinstating Three Strikes) Amendment Bill.

If the decision to withhold correspondents names is made, I would like to know the details of why there is no countervailing public interest in those details being released.

If we are unable to respond to your request by then, we will notify you of an extension of that timeframe.

In line with section 19(a)(ii) of the OIA, please can you provide the grounds in support of that reason why you have withheld correspondents names under s9(2)(a) of the OIA.
