I refer to your official information request of 7 October 2024 for “a copy
of all teams messages between the Government Relations team members for
the month of October 2023”.

It appears likely that your original request will need to be amended to
enable us to respond. We conducted an initial search for this information,
and found over 14,700 messages within the scope of your request. To
provide you with this would take considerable time and we may need to
consider declining your request under section 18(f) of the OIA, as “the
information requested cannot be made available without substantial
collation or research”. 

Further, as you have not identified any other criteria in your request
(such as a specific topic), your request may not meet the requirement
under section 12(2) of the OIA, that “the information requested shall be
specified with due particularity”.

However, we do have a Government Services (formerly Government Relations)
Teams chat, which includes all members of the Government Services Team. If
this would meet your requirements, we can consider releasing this under
the OIA. In order for us to respond to your request, please reply by 16
October 2024.

Please note that any clarification or amendment of a request is considered
to be a new request for the purpose of calculating the maximum statutory
time frame for response—see section 15(1AA) of the OIA.
