From: Ash
Dear University of Auckland,
I am writing to request data on the rank scores of students applying through the NCEA and CIE pathways (as taken in New Zealand) for Part 1 Engineering, starting in Semester 1, 2024. Specifically, I would like to request the lower quartile, mean, median, and upper quartile of these rank scores for successful applicants who applied through each pathway.
Yours faithfully,
Ash

Dear Ash,
I refer to your request of 29 August 2024. As consultations necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a response cannot reasonably be given within the original time limit, the University has extended the time limit for your request under section 15A(1)(b) of the OIA. The new maximum time limit for the University’s response is 24 October 2024; we will respond to your request as soon as reasonably practicable. You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are dissatisfied with this extension.
Yours sincerely,
Landon Watt
