    Dear New Zealand Police,
I reside in New Zealand and I am seeking basic information about firearms held by the Police.
According to a previous request, as of 2021, there were 6470 firearms in operational service with the Police. Only firearms meeting this definition of "in operational service" are within the scope of my request.
Please provide further details about these firearms including the manufacturer, model and calibre of each type of firearm used by police and how many of each type are assigned to each district, specialist squad or other designated unit.
Yours faithfully,
PH
