1. Consultation Materials: All consultation materials that were developed
and communicated to staff by Te Pûkenga as a result of the government's
directive in December 2023 to disestablish Te Pûkenga. This includes, but
is not limited to:

1.1 HR consultation packs

1.2 HR confirmation packs

1.3 Any other related consultation materials

1.4 Internal Communications: All internal communications from Te Pûkenga’s
HR teams to staff that relate to the above consultation materials. This
includes, but is not limited to:

 

1.1.1 Emails

1.1.2 Internal memos

1.1.3 Internal announcements (e.g. mass emails)

 

I am specifically interested in documents and communications that address
the impact on staff, the consultation process, timelines, and any support
or resources provided to staff during this period.

 

Please acknowledge receipt of this request as per the statutory
requirements of the Official Information Act, and I look forward to your
response within the 20 working days timeframe.

Dear Francesca,

Thank you for your recent correspondence indicating that the information will be released 'soon'. Could you provide a specific date or a rough estimate for when this information will be available? Additionally, could you explain the reason for the delay?

For context, guidance from the Ombudsman suggests that releasing information within eight to fourteen working days from refusal is considered 'soon'. According to this, Te Pūkenga is expected to release the requested information by 6 September 2024*.

I also noticed that while some information from my request has been made available on the Te Pūkenga website^, the full scope of the information I requested under the OIA has not yet been provided.
