Dear Ara,
I refer to your request received by the University on 15 July 2024. The
University’s response follows.
“What is the grade distribution for normal first year engineering students
compared to the grade distribution of those who took exams and tests under
special conditions?
Please provide the 2023 grade distribution data from exams and tests in:
ENGSCI 111
ENGGEN 115
ENGGEN 121
ENGGEN 140”
The statistics requested – custom grade distributions for specified
courses, and/or individual assessments/examinations in specified courses,
based on whether the student sat the test/exam under special conditions -
are not held by the University. This constitutes a refusal of your request
under section 18(g) of the OIA. You have the right to make a complaint to
an Ombudsman if you are dissatisfied with this response.
Yours sincerely,
Landon Watt
