Availability and funding of WHO Essential Medicines
Laydan Mortensen made this Official Information request to Pharmaceutical Management Agency
Pharmaceutical Management Agency did not have the information requested.
From: Laydan Mortensen
Dear Pharmaceutical Management Agency,
I have two questions regarding Pharmac's availability and funding of medicines listed on the World Health Organisation's Model Lists of Essential Medicines (WHO-EM).
1) Are there any medicines listed on the WHO-EM that are not listed on the Pharmaceutical Schedule?
2) Approximately how much (as a number and as a percentage) of the Combined Pharmaceutical Budget is spent on funding medicines listed on the WHO-EM?
Yours faithfully,
Laydan Mortensen
