MBIE's funding of NZTE and savings target

Sarah Hillsdene made this Official Information request to Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment

The request was successful.

From: Sarah Hillsdene

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

Please can you provide the date for when NZTE was informed of its savings target? It is my understanding that MBIE allocates NZTE with its annual funding.

Note, this is not in relation to NZTE's 2023 COVID funding reduction, but specifically this relates to the savings targets that most agencies and departments were issued from December 2023 onwards. i.e. 6.5% or 7.5% etc.

When did MBIE provide the target to NZTE and what was the percentage (as above)?

Yours faithfully,

Sarah
