Thank you for your Official Information Act (Act) request by the Department of Internal Affairs (Department) on 6 May 2024.
You requested –
1. I would like to request the graphs display the status of Citizenship by Grant applications grouped by the month they were received at The Department of Internal Affairs (like the one on https://catalogue.data.govt.nz/).
2. I would like to request for each month, from the period of January 2023 to today (the date when this request is processed).
In response to your request I can provide you with the following information.
I can advise that this information is already publicly available and can be found here: Status of Citizenship by Grant application by date received at DIA - data.govt.nz - discover and use data.
This information is updated at the beginning of each month with the current version showing data from November 2022 to the end of April 2024. Therefore I must refuse this request pursuant to section 18(d) of the Act; that the information requested is or will soon be publicly available.
