emailed directly to medsafe?

Dear Ministry of Health,

Many people have reported emailing their covid jab adverse events directly
to Medsafe's email address, rather than using the CARM system, especially
in 2021.

What happens to those accounts?
Where are they logged?
What do they show and which public or private, passive or active
pharmacovigilance systems are informed by them?

As stated in the response, all adverse events which have been reported to
CARM, no matter their method of reporting, end up in the CARM database.

 

Medsafe’s email addresses are publicly available here:

adverse events here: [2]www.medsafe.govt.nz/safety/report-a-problem.asp.

 

Under section 28(3) of the Act and section 70 of the Privacy Act 2020 you

online contact page, but which do NOT include the one you have quoted in

Please reply to my original request, referencing all the available public
facing email addresses that people could have used to report AEFIs.
