On 10 April 2024, you requested the following information, under the Local
Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA):

 

Please can you provide a copy of the powerpoint presentation used by Mayor
Mauger and Councillor MacDonald to the Sewer Crisis meeting at 21 Acheson
Ave on April 4, 2024 regarding the Council's Long Term Plan and any
accompanying notes made by or provided to either politician by Council
staff (or any Council subsidiary or company).

Please also tell me who prepared the presentation and what Council
resources were used in preparing the presentation.

 

Please find attached the powerpoint presentation used during Mayor Mauger
and Councillor MacDonalds presentation.

 

The presentation itself was provided to all councillors for use when
discussing the LTP and was created by the Media & Communications team
using information gathered from the LTP documents and meetings. The base
of the presentation is taken from our template design used in all Council
communication both in house and external, but a very small amount of
further design work was requested and used to create the following
infograph:

 

This has been used within other areas of the LTP engagement as well.

 

Councillor MacDonald and Mayor Mauger have confirmed that there were no
further notes, they just used the slides, with Councillor MacDonald
confirming that the attached version, as used on the night, has had a few
slides deleted from the complete presentation that the Councillors
received. No other changes have been made.
