Dear University of Otago,
I have recently become aware of potential changes to the admissions requirement for the MBChB from HSFY entry in regards to a new interview requirement and additional allocated places from multiple sources associated with the university. Therefore I am making an OIA request for clarification and confirmation of the following:
1. Whether there is a new interview requirement for entry into the MBChB program for the the academic year 2024.
2. If such a requirement exists, please specify the structure of the interview (panel/MMI etc.).
3. The total number of additional places allocated for HSFY general category admission to MBChB, if applicable for 2024
I can confirm I am currently in NZ as per section 12(1)c of the Act.
