Finance - RBNZ staffing levels
R S Grant made this Official Information request to David Seymour
David Seymour did not have the information requested.
From: R S Grant
Dear David Seymour,
This request is addressed to you in your capacity as Associate Minister of Finance.
In March 2023 the RBNZ responded to an OIA request that I had submitted regarding changes in staffing levels between December 2017 and December 2022. In this response they advised that during that five-year period their “People & Capability” and “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Wellbeing” directorates combined had increased their headcount from 4.0 to 30.4 FTEs. During the same period, their Communications staff had increased from 10.6 to 34.9 FTEs.
Please provide any information that you have received regarding these increases, including any justifications that you have been provided for such a growth in headcount.
Please note that I am specifically requesting any information that has been provided to Ministers on this topic, and so this request should not be transferred to the RBNZ. If no information has been provided to you on this topic, then please state that, or transfer the request to another Minister if you have reason to believe that they may have been provided advice on this matter.
Yours faithfully,
R S Grant
