Kia ora,
Under the OIA, I'd like to request a list of OIA requests that David Seymour's office has received between January 1 2024 and the present. Please include the following columns in the list: the reference number assigned to the request (if there is any, if not feel free to exclude this column), what the request was requesting, the date on which the request was received, the date on which a decision was made on the request, and the decision that was made on the request (i.e. whether the request was refused, whether information was released, or whether only some information was released and there were some withholding or redactions. Please include the exact sections of the OIA exemptions were made under if any.)

Hey,
What part of my makes it too substantial? Would you like me to narrow the date range? If that is the case, how much would my request have to be narrowed for it to no longer take an unreasonable effort.
Or, alternatively, is having the decision column in there too voluminous? Would the issue be remedied by not having to cite which sections of the OIA information was withheld under?
I'd like to get this request through but if you could be give me a bit more information on what the problem is with it I'd be very grateful as that would be quite helpful.
Cheers,
Will Evans

Hello Will
Yes, narrowing the date range to a minimum would be a start in rescoping.
As we have over 675 OIAs, to collate the information you are requesting is
too vast and requires huge research/collation.
Are you able to advise what particular information/subject/topic you are
looking for?
Kind regards

Hey,
I’m not looking for OIAs on any particular topic, just the requests that Mr. Seymour has received.
Would it be acceptable to revise my request to the last 250 OIA requests that a decision has been made on?
Thanks,
Will
