Thank you for your request of 6 March 2024, transferred from Hon David Seymour, made 
under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) as fol ows:
In March 2023 the RBNZ responded to an OIA request that I had submitted regarding 
changes in staffing levels between December 2017 and December 2022. In this 
response they advised that during that five-
their headcount from 4.0 to 30.4 FTEs. During the same period, their 
Communications staff had increased from 10.6 to 34.9 FTEs.
Please provide any information that you have received regarding these increases, 
including any justifications that you have been provided for such a growth in 
headcount
A search of my records has confirmed that I hold no information within scope of your request. 
Therefore,  I  am  refusing  your  request  under  section  18(e)  of  the  OIA  that  the  document 
al eged to contain the information requested does not exist or, despite reasonable efforts to 
locate it, cannot be found.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review of this response by the Ombudsman, 
in  accordance  with  section  28(3)  of  the  OIA.  The  relevant  details  can  be  found  on  the
