2024 for information regarding COVID-19. On 9 February 2024, the Ministry
transferred parts 4 and 4a of your request to Health New Zealand - Te
Whatu Ora. Please find a response to the remaining parts of your request
below.  

 

Please release information showing the RT-PCR Ct value for general
detection of a Covid-19 infection - if this value has changed please
supply the history since being established. 

  

Please release information showing the RT-PCR Ct value for detection of
break through infections and if there is s different protocol for
evaluating a positive result considered break through infection. 

  

Please release all information relating to research and findings complete
with any data available showing break through infection numbers along with
vaccine status of the infected.

Thank you for your message in relation to Question 4 - to clarify, please
supply data showing all cause mortality not specific to Covid-19 clearly
showing 'No Dose' column.

4A - I note the latest data for Covid-19 associated cases, the 'No Dose'
column has been replaced with 'Not Fully Vaccinated' and as the latter
also covers those who were vaccinated, please also supply in addition,
this same information as question 4 but specific to Covid-19 showing
vaccination status with 'No Dose' column which should be considered an
important control group with observable data. 

 

Manatû Hauora does not hold any information relating to questions 4 and 4a
of your request; however, I have been advised that this information is
held by Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand. For this reason, I have decided
to transfer these parts of your request to their agency under section
14(b)(i) of the Act. You can expect a response from Te Whatu Ora

The Act requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no
