Dear OIA Requests,

Thank you for your prompt reply to my request for information. However, the information you have supplied does not answer the questions I have asked.

Firstly, regarding the information you have supplied, can you please confirm that the figure of 98 hospitalisations is the total number of people with a positive Covid-19 test result who have been hospitalised in the current outbreak. If this is correct, please confirm that this figure is correct to which date? If not correct, please clarify exactly what this figure of 98 is referring to.

Secondly, regarding my initial requests for information, please answer the specific questions (see below) which have not been addressed in your response. To be clear, my questions relate to Delta cases in the current outbreak on whichever day there were the most people in hospital receiving care for a Covid-19 (Delta) infection. Please include that date in your response, as requested in the second part of the first question below:

1) What is the highest number of Covid-19 cases that have been in hospital
on any one day during the current outbreak and on what date did that
occur?
2) On that day, what was the total number of recorded positive COVID-19
infections in NZ and what percentages of New Zealanders had received (a)
0ne jab (b) Two jabs (c) No jab
3) Of the hospitalised cases on that day, what percentage had received (a)
one jab (b) two jabs (c) No jab

Please note that I have not asked for any personal information - only
figures. I have requested these figures on the day of the most
hospitalisations so that the figures given cannot be in any way revealing
of any individual's vaccination status or other personal information.

Yours sincerely,
