Dear Sara Freitag,
I am quite concerned about the response to my OIA regarding information about complaints. The response appears to be inconsistent with ACC's OIA response GOV-028436. In Response GOV-028436 ACC included the Data Analytics on ACC Complaints. This states in bold "ACC complaints are all captured in one system and acted on in a consistent way"
The system captures:
• The date the complaint was received, and date it was resolved
• Whether a Code of Claimant rights was requested, including details of the investigation and the outcome
• Area of the business managing the individual’s claim (if they are a client)
• Full description of the complaint and all correspondence relating to it, including a summary of what has
been taken into consideration as part of the complaint investigation
• The complaint category i.e., the nature of the complaint.
Please provide me with the copies of all Quarterly Customer Feedback Reports from 01/01/2018 to present. If these Quarterly Customer Feedback Reports do not include the "area of the business managing the individuals claim", then please include this information. Please include the number of complaints by also the category of the nature of the complaint.
Thanks.

Dear Government Services,
Your response did not address my request from 14 December 2023, which was:
I am requesting further information regarding the reports you have provided, which
included all reports from Q3 2018/19 (the first report) to Q1 2023/24 (the latest report)."
Please provide me with the numbers of persons within ACC who have access to the full reports, without any reactions under s 9(2)(a) of the Act, and the complete list of persons and agencies, external to ACC who have access to the underacted reports.
Please specify if the redacted sections name specific claimants or other individuals.
Yours sincerely,

Thank you for contacting ACC; this is an automatic reply to confirm we
have received your email.
We will try to respond your query as quickly as possible. However,
depending on the nature of your request you may not receive a response for
up to 20 working days. Please note that the period from 25 December 2023
to 15 January 2024 (inclusive) are not counted as working days under the
Official Information Act 1982, and our offices will be closed from 25
December to 7 January. OIA requests submitted after 27 November 2023 may
take a bit longer than you expected. You can check the [1]Ombudsman OIA
response calculator to find when your request for official information
will be due.
In cases where ACC’s response provides information that is identified to
be of general public interest, the response may also be published on the
ACC’s website. If ACC publishes the response to your OIA request, all
personal information, including your name and contact details, will be
removed.
The information you have requested may involve documents which contains
the names of our staff. Please let us know whether you require these
names. We may need to consult our staff before deciding whether we can
release this information, and this may take a bit more time. If we do not
hear from you, we will assume that you do not require staff names.
Our [2]website provides up to date news and information about our work.
You can also follow us on [3]Facebook and [4]Twitter. Further information
about how to contact us is also available [5]here.

Reports are not accessible to external parties other than via OIA. Also,
please note that withholding grounds are only applicable when releasing
the information externally.
