Salary band information
John Smith made this Official Information request to Commerce Commission
The request was successful.
From: John Smith
Dear Commerce Commission,
I am writing to make a request pursuant to the Official Information Act 1982. The request is for information concerning your salary bands, specifically the salaries of your legal team.
As part of your salary band information, could you please provide me with the entry point salary (i.e. the lowest starting salary for the position) and the highest available salary within the band for the following roles:
- General Counsel;
- Chief Legal Counsel;
- Senior Legal Counsel;
- Legal Counsel; and
- Law graduate.
Should there not be an exact starting point for each salary band, could you please provide me with the lowest and highest salaries for each of the roles above.
Could you also provide the average salary for each of the bands set out above and the total spent on legal salaries for the end of the 2022 financial year.
Thanks in advance for your assistance with this request.
Yours faithfully,
John Smith
