CIAL believes it has complied with its statutory obligations with answering your Request under the OIA. Where you have requested certain information, CIAL has responded accordingly. We outlined direct links which should assist you with the information you were after.

As outlined within our response to you we are not able to provide you with original briefs to experts, budget allocations for each assessment/analysis nor ‘the resulting report – whether in draft or final format and the date it was shared with CIAL’. The further information you are seeking out below is withheld under Section 9(2)(i) and 9(2)(j) of the OIA; the release of certain information would disadvantage CIAL’s ability to carry out its commercial activities in relation to the Central Otago Airport Project.

Please be mindful of the fact that CIAL has recently received multiple requests for information via fyi.org.nz website. Many of these requests appear to be related and the volume significantly exceeds what CIAL would expect to receive in the ordinary course of its business. Nonetheless, it has still responded to your request within 20 working days (as per our statutory obligations).
