Your 'New regional airport for Central Otago' website mentions engagement with schools. Please confirm:

1. The date, time and name of school for each visit.

2. How many separate classrooms of students you met with on each visit.

3. Provide a copy of the notes, presentation, handouts or visuals you shared with the students.

All correspondence with each school to set up these visits.

Thank you for your letter.

1) Please, as requested, provide the dates of the visits.
2) Regarding your para 8)a) I do not accept your reason for withholding this information. You can redact information as necessary, and there is no reason for withholding it.
3) Regarding your para 8)b) the purpose is to see exactly what material was shared, what information was provide, what speech was given etc etc. You should be transparent about this.
4) Why did you need to take the maximum time available under the act - to the day - to answer my request?

Please provide the information I originally asked for

CIAL believes it has complied with its statutory obligations with answering your Request under the OIA. Where you have requested certain information, CIAL has responded accordingly.
We stand by our decision to withhold information where necessary, for the reasons outlined within our response to you.

As you will note, CIAL has recently received multiple requests for information via fyi.org.nz website.
