Kia ora Chris,

I write in response to your OIA request received by Pāmu on 28^th July
2023 regarding discharge consents for Pāmu farms on land owned by Wairakei
Pastoral Limited and an extract of amount spent on suppliers for FY
2021/22 up to 28^th July 2023 on the same farms.

In relation to your first request relating to discharge consents, we do
not hold any discharge consents as this activity falls under a Permitted
Activity Authorisation. This information is already publicly available on
the following website -
[1]https://waikatomaps.waikatoregion.govt.n....
A screenshot below shows the information available with the yellow dots
symbolising the Permitted Activity Authorisation and further details on
each authorisation provided in a pop up box.

In relation to the second part of your enquiry (supplier spend over the
past few financial years at Pāmu’s farms on land owned by Wairakei
Pastoral Limited), please find attached a PDF outlining the amount spent
by Pāmu on individual vendors by financial year. We have not supplied
information relating to Vendor 1 which relates to lease payments nor have
we provided company names for the other Vendors. Pāmu withholds this
information under Section 9(2)(b)(ii) and s9(2)(i) of the Official
Information Act 1982. Withholding is necessary for Pāmu to carry out our
commercial activities without prejudice or disadvantage by disclosing
sensitive information about Pāmu's relationships with customers and
suppliers.

You have the right to complain to the Ombudsman under section 28 of the
Official Information Act about Pāmu's withholding of information.

Thank you for your follow up email.

Please find attached customer amounts per FY for the last few financial years relating to Pāmu farms on Wairakei Pastoral owned land. I have reread your original request and apologise that I did not provide this information in my original response.
