Dear Landcorp Farming Limited,

Landcorp is a State-Owned Enterprise and subject to the Official Information Act. Under Schedule 1 of the OIA, related companies of State enterprises (defined in s2(1A) as an NZ registered company directly or indirectly wholly owned or controlled by an SOE) are also subject to the OIA. I would like to request the following information under the OIA:

* a list of all related companies of Landcorp, including for each one a contact email address.

I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about
this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the
fyi.org.nz website.

With regards to s12 of the OIA, I am an NZ citizen and in NZ.

Hi Alex,

I am in receipt of your Official Information Act request (below) received by
email on 2 October 2014. Please accept this email reply, in line with your
stated preference, as the only form of response to be sent.

Landcorp Farming Limited (LFL) is a New Zealand Government owned, registered,
limited liability company which is also a State Owned Enterprise under the
State Owned Enterprises Act 1986. The shares in LFL are held by the Minister of Finance
and the Minister of Primary Industry.

There are no related companies with a shareholding in LFL. LFL has three subsidiaries (as defined in the Companies Act 1993), being Landcorp Pastoral Limited, Landcorp Holdings Limited and Landcorp Estates Limited. LFL holds 100% of the shares in each of those companies. Landcorp Pastoral Limited has one wholly owned subsidiary, Focus Genetics Management Limited. These companies are all managed through the Landcorp head office and the contact email address for each them is [Landcorp Farming Limited request email].

LFL's annual report for the year to June 2014 will be released to the public in the near future, and will contain further details about the entities in which LFL hold an interest.
