Dear Inland Revenue Department,
I am conducting research on the affect that new technology has on staff numbers and expenditure on staff, contractors and IT expenditure.
I require the following information so that i can analyse how capital expenditure on a computer system has affected staff expenditure.
The years that i am looking at are from 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 (YTD).
Please provide the following details:
Total permanent staff numbers per year.
Total Fixed term staff numbers per year.
IT expenditure per year.
Fixed-term and contract work expenditure per year.
Contractors and consultants expenditure per year.
Outsourced services expenditure per year.
Please do not charge me for this request as i am a poor student and have limited resources.

I would like to clarify the items in my original request as follows
The years that i am looking at are from 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 (YTD).
Please provide the following details:
* Total permanent staff numbers per year.
* Total Fixed term staff numbers per year.
* IT expenditure per year.
* Fixed-term and contract work expenditure per year - (This would relate to both projects and also normal operations, for example, staff that are on fixed term contracts undertaking business as usual tasks).
* Contractors and consultants expenditure per year.- (undertaking any work for IR)
Outsourced services expenditure per year - Examples, would include, but not limited to, work outsourced to Madison and Salmat.
Please also send the total number of hours and total expenditure per year on overtime, for the same years as before 2014,2015,2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 (YTD) This would include both fixed term and permanent staff.
(Please also include total Salary/ Wage costs for all permanent staff each year.)
