Dear Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade,

Under the Official Information Act 1982, I am requesting any communications, instructions, or guidelines issued by or received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade that pertain to dietary preferences or specific food items, notably sausage rolls or other savoury foods, to be made available during Prime Minister Chris Hipkins’ official meetings with foreign leaders.

The communications requested include any guidelines for photo opportunities involving the Prime Minister with these food items. This request covers the timeframe from the beginning of the Prime Minister’s term to the present.

Please confirm receipt of this request promptly. I understand there may be costs associated and am prepared to cover reasonable charges then please let me know in advance.

I look forward to your response within the 20 working days as specified by the Act.

that we will need to extend the time limit for responding to you by 20

make a decision on your request are such that a proper response cannot
