Under the Official Information Act 1982, I am requesting any communications, instructions, or guidelines issued by or received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade that pertain to dietary preferences or specific food items, notably sausage rolls or other savoury foods, to be made available during Prime Minister Chris Hipkins’ official meetings with foreign leaders.

The communications requested include any guidelines for photo opportunities involving the Prime Minister with these food items. This request covers the timeframe from the beginning of the Prime Minister’s term to the present.

This email confirms receipt of your request and advises that we will respond to it as soon as reasonably practicable, and in terms of the timeframes and requirements of the OIA.
