Dear New Zealand Police,
I hope this letter finds you well. I kindly request your assistance in providing me with the following information regarding the deployment of the Police Eagle helicopter during the response to Cyclone Gabrielle:
1. Please provide the number of arrests facilitated or assisted by the Police Eagle helicopter from the commencement of its operational activities in Hawke's Bay until its departure to return to Auckland during the period of Cyclone Gabrielle.
2. I would appreciate receiving details regarding the substantial impact achieved through the deployment of the Police Eagle helicopter from the time it commenced operating in Hawke's Bay until it concluded its operations and returned to Auckland.
3. If available, please provide any relevant data, statistics, or reports showcasing the effectiveness of the Police Eagle helicopter in supporting the law enforcement operations from the time it started operating during the cyclone response until its departure.
4. Additionally, I am interested in any assessments or recommendations made by the New Zealand Police regarding the potential permanent deployment of the Police Eagle helicopter in Hawke's Bay based on the observed outcomes and results during its temporary deployment. If there are any statistics or data available showcasing the effectiveness of the Police Eagle helicopter specifically in the context of Hawke's Bay, I kindly request that they be included. I am particularly interested in any insights or findings that suggest the helicopter could be more useful in Hawke's Bay compared to its current deployment in Auckland. Please provide this information in a professional manner, highlighting any notable advantages or benefits that may arise from such a relocation.
I kindly request that the provided information be as up-to-date and comprehensive as possible. If some parts of the requested information are not immediately available, please provide an estimated timeframe for when they will be made available.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.
Yours faithfully,
Leonardo
