Flood prone sites Auckland
Peter Johnson made this Official Information request to Michael Wood
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Peter Johnson to read recent responses and update the status.
From: Peter Johnson
Dear Michael Wood,
Following the anniversary day flooding in Auckland please advise what steps you are taking to work with Auckland Council to identify flood prone sites and change approval processes.
To date we have seen nothing from central government or Auck Council. People are progressing applications to build on what are clearly compromised sites.
This is creating a future burden and after how traumatic it was for many we are most concerned.
Has Council formally communicated with you with plans, and if so, what steps have been taken?
Yours faithfully,
Peter Johnson
